Performance and user experience
Tagged is a mobile app for flirting, dating, hookups and not much for long-term relations. It includes everything necessary for social networking of such kind: posting, adding new connections, messaging and sending locations. The app works on a special algorithm to help people find matches with similar interests and plans for the night.
That’s what I call super simple and super straightforward: a few clicks, a few swipes and you are already flirting with a nice girl 700m from you. App developers claim the most outstanding thing about their app is that it helps keeping real. No idea about how real her photos are, but I definitely like the way it works. Even my granny could successfully start using it right after installing. Nice colours, convenient button size and crystal-clear description of each menu point. My mark of the interface is 5/5!
The latest version of the Tagged app has a lot to offer to the social networking addicts:
- Fast sign-up process;
- Opportunity to start a Live stream or watch streams from other users
- Search for guys or girls nearby and swipe those you find most attractive;
- In case they swipe your profile picture, you get an opportunity to chat with this person;
- Users are offered standard ice-breaking phrases to start a new conversation;
- Make new friends and hookups and discover a great community of people with the same interests.
In addition to well-functioning options, the updated Tagged app has the same problems other dating apps do: the age restriction is only de-jure. There is no scam filter, no picture verification or such. Free sign up is an advantage, but at the same time, it attracts a lot of fakes. My mark is 3.5/5.
Performance and User Experience
I found it very pleasant to use Tagged and only once it suddenly crashed for no apparent reason. I familiarized myself with other users’ reviews and discovered the Tagged performance has many bugs and crashes, little developers’ support. It prevents me from high estimation. This is a noteworthy dating app, though, that can compete with MeetMe, POF and Scout mostly due to its simple use. The score is 3 out of 5.
To install Tagged dating app on your smartphone or a tablet, you need iOS 9.3 and up. For Android users there are no specific requirements, compatibility with Android versions varies with device. In case you are a Windows Phone owner, you can get APK and use Tagged on your device as well. I rate the app with 3.5/5 for its discrimination of iOS 7.0 and 8.0 users and no official page at Microsoft Store.
- Simple matching algorithm;
- Extensive profile;
- User-friendly interface.
- Ineffective profile moderation and scam protection;
- Bugs and crashes;
Choosing among other apps for dating and matching with a neat and clear interface and a few useful tools – you can try using Tagged. It has enough functionality for finding new contacts nearby, extremely intuitive interface understandable for everyone and moderate device compatibility. You can make use of it when searching for a hookup or just for a company to go out tonight. In general, having this app installed on your device is good for singles to have fun.
