With a beautiful, distinct interface this app makes it fun to be in the know about your favorite parades. WDSU tracks parade with real-time GPS information, which ensures all your notifications are on point. Push notifications also let you know what’s happening even when you’re offline.

You’ll get the latest news and coverage of all festivals as they happen and alerts on any route change so that you plan your journey in advance. You can also share photos and videos of the parades with other users.

You’re provided with well-contrasted maps for different parades with the route itineraries clearly marked. At the bottom, you’ll get menu options for Headlines, Videos, Photos and Traffic.

Usability

I love everything on this app, from the purple-themed backgrounds to the way everything is arranged including all the headlines and news. The app doesn’t suffer any glitches on my devices. I did observe on one or two occasions that the app didn’t update a route change which caught me stuck in traffic, but this was a rare occurrence. Users have suggested that the app would be great if it could filter by location and show the ends of parade routes.
